I specialize in therapy for individuals and couples struggling with emotional, thought-based, and relational problems and those facing major life transitions, grief and trauma. I provide an engaged, safe and compassionate space where you can tell your story and explore how thoughts and past experiences impact the way you feel, behave, relate to others and manage life's challenges. I then assist you in finding healthy alternatives and an empowered path forward.
My approach depends upon the challenges you are facing. I may use a combination of CBT, ACT, IFS, Trauma Focused, mindfulness and relational theory as well as coaching techniques to guide our work. Your goals are my goals, and I'll share any tool in my box to support you, help you hone your inner resources, and live more fully and intentionally.
Emotional stress often stems from our relationship with painful past experiences combined with disconnection from the present, our physical bodies, inherent worth, and personal values. By honing insight and self-love, and noticing internal conversations and feelings instead of being run by them, I can help you live with greater peace, clarity and purpose.
