Using a combination of therapy, meditation, mindfulness techniques and healthy lifestyle changes, together we can break old negative cycles and resolve current troublesome issues. I am comfortable working with a wide variety of presenting issues. In order to individually tailor therapy to each person, I believe an eclectic approach is most effective. Therefore, my approach includes components of different modalities, such as Eye Movement Desenitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Gestalt, Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness.
In 2010 I completed my training in Eye Movement Desenitization and Reprocessing therapy. Like many psychotherapists, I have found that this mindful and progressive form of therapy is effective with many clients. Currenly I am working towards certification in EMDR. In addition, I am dedicated to continuing my education in all aspects of therapy.
