NOTE: My goal is to help clients identify and more successfully manage challenges that interfere with their daily quality of life. In addition, I have specialized training in trauma utilizing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.)
Although I have experience in many areas, I have extensive experience and training as an EMDR therapist working with trauma survivors (both big trauma and little trauma such as childhood emotional issues.) I also have extensive experience in helping parents and educators build better relationships with their children.
I have been trauma trained using EMDR since 2011 and continue to use it very effectively with clients. I specifically like helping adults realize that some of their "buttons" are actually evidence of past trauma. I have also taught parenting classes regularly since 2008 using Love and Logic. I love helping parents change their family dynamics!
