I believe that all people Make Sense, Deserve Respect, and are Sacred. I am a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist and an Internationally Certified Addiction Professional. I have been in private practice since 1988. I specialize in Relationship Therapy and Communication Skills with Couples and Families. Unlike traditional "tattle tale" therapy, I get the couple talking to one another so that both can be accurately heard and validated , with mutually agreed upon solutions resulting. I taught these skills at the UN to groups as diverse as the Hutu and Tutsi peoples of Rwanda.
These skills take time to learn and are best taught in extended sessions of 2 or more hours. The overall time in therapy is reduced because I am empowering the couple to learn a new way of "cutting" through their ineffective behaviors of the past.
Studies have proven that traditional marriage counseling of 45 minutes a week just doesn't work. I have flexible hours and some weekend hours to facilitate longer, more effective couples work, so that the total number of sessions can be reduced. Call me at (561) 624-8819 Ext. 1
