I see my job as walking with client's through their personal healing journey as they learn new truths and new skills to improve their relationships with others and themselves. I am honored by the trust clients put in me to witness and assist in their healing. My ideal client is the one who is willing to look at their behaviors, patterns and face difficult truths about themselves in order to find a better way to thrive.
I specialize in the treatment of trauma in all its forms. I work with adults, children and teens. I have a main office for the adults and teens I work with. I also have a separate play-room for play therapy. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, self-harm, domestic violence, substance abuse, ADHD, and dissociative disorders such as DID.
I use an individualized approach that takes into account my client's interests and talents. I also use a variety of treatment methods such as art therapy, music therapy, sand tray, play therapy, EMDR, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), Theraplay, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), and TF-CBT.
