I am a holistic counselor who addresses your issues on all levels: body, mind, heart & soul. Body-wise, I encourage optimal nutrition, sleep and movement for optimal psychological well-being. Mentally, I support mindfulness & help you replace self-defeating thoughts & beliefs with self-enhancing ones. Emotionally, I guide you toward opening up to & experiencing your emotions. Soul-wise I support finding or rediscovering meaning & purpose in your life and/or connection to a Higher Power, if that suits you. I also help with life transitions such as grief & loss. I offer counseling for adults and couples, including LGBTQ.
My holistic counseling approach also includes EMDR for PTSD & other unresolved traumatic memories, inner work therapy for befriending disowned, wounded parts of yourself, such as your inner child, so that they stop affecting you in unconscious and self-destructive ways. I also offer counseling for all types of addictions.
