"The longest journey that a man must take in his lifetime is the 18 inches from his head to his heart." This is the basis of Head/Heart Therapy. Utilizing various therapeutic methods, each client is treated as a unique individual to facilitate healing. Head/Heart Therapy is a private therapy practice where clients can experience non-judgmental, open, and authentic therapy. We value working with unique people from diverse backgrounds, life styles, and points of view.
We aim to create an atmosphere to inspire our clients to empower themselves and tap into their own authenticity in order to thrive. Simultaneously, in order to relieve pain and suffering, we are skilled at holding clients accountable for ways they may be harming themselves and encourage themselves and encourage them to make choices that will support healing.
We believe in being actively antiracist and strive to decolonize therapy. We believe love is love and welcome clients of all gender expression, sexual orientation, and relationship structure. We believe addiction is born out of trauma and therefore attend to root issues in order to support holistic recovery.
