I have worked in many areas of both Mental Health and Addictions treatment. I am trained in a variety of evidence based methods. I am confident I can help a wide variety of individuals and families with the stressors they face today. I enjoy pulling from my teachings and training to keep up with the best practice methods to help people to the best of my ability. I enjoy a collaborative and energetic working relationship with my clients.
A solid working relationship is important for change. I have long history working with all types of addictions in addition to mental health issues. Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential Psychology, Mindfulness and Biofeedback are some of the main theoretical orientations I use.
Some people go back to school. Others learn new ways to manage in life. Either way we are learning. My passion for teaching and helping people grow is advantageous for students, clients, supervisees and myself. If we can learn how to think well and live well we can be well.
