Hello and welcome! I work with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, effects of trauma. Really, anything that's keeping you stuck, I want to help you get unstuck - even if it's not quite pinpointed. I love working with creative-types, people going through life transitions (good and bad), parents (and parents-to-be, and parents who want-to-be), people ready to finally tackle issues from their past, folks who have been to counseling before and want to learn how to apply their skills differently and learn new skills. I am passionate about meeting you where you are on your journey and helping you get to where you want to be.
I specialize in EMDR for trauma (recent incidents and adverse childhood experiences), anxiety, panic / OCD, and integrate DBT and IFS-informed best practices to give you a holistic understanding of yourself and the tools your need to safely heal and begin living the life you want. We won't just talk about your issues, you'll experience yourself differently.
Therapy is my passion. I love learning about the most up-to-date and evidence-based, brain-science-y, approaches to help individuals find balance in their internal system and relationships with others. I want to share my knowledge and tools with you! There isn't one "right" way for everyone, and I want to help you find what's going to work best for you.
