Daniel Rothman is a psychotherapist in private practice in the Wood River Valley. Having spent over a decade helping individuals bridge the journey into mature adulthood, he specializes in helping clients actively examine the relationships in their lives in order to build self-awareness, change old patterns, and create healthy new habits. He has significant experience with anxiety, depression, chemical dependence, ADHD, oppositional defiance disorder, and attachment issues. Whether it's with gentle compassion or assertive challenge, Daniel meets each client where they are using the best tools to create opportunities for growth.

He uses a combination of relational, somatic, and psychoeducational approaches in his practice. Daniel also utilizes neurotherapy (neurofeedback) as an adjunct to talk therapy. Neurotherapy is extremely helpful for conditions such as ADHD and autism.

Daniel has been a clinical field instructor in wilderness therapy since 2010 and currently works as the Adventure Guide for BlueFire Wilderness Therapy. Daniel received his masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Naropa University and is currently completing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
