Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Training Gro
*NOT CURRENTLY ACTIVE* Based on Linehan's DBT model. Accelerated 6 week course per module. Group is structured to teach healthy coping skills for people struggling with intense emotions, anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, and/or interpersonal issues. Participants learn the skills of Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. By learning to suspend judgment, increasing awareness and acceptance, regulating emotions, and using more effective interpersonal skills, group members begin to use effective strategies to optimize their life.
