An adult group specific to People of Color who identify as feminine, Transgender, non-binary and/ or gender nonconforming. Members will learn mindfulness/CBT techniques to help them manage negative thoughts & life stressors relevant to their non-cisgender, non-binary identities. Members will learn to learn coping resources to improve their well-being and responses to stressful situations. The session topics will vary e.g. Physical Mindfulness and Accepting the Journey , Cognitive Mindfulness , Neural Disorders & Effects on the Trans Individuals , Navigating Challenging , Emotions & Gratefulness, Dead Naming , ComingOut , HRT 101 and Family of Choice. etc.
