I believe in using an integrative, compassionate, and creative relationship-based approach that utilizes techniques from cognitive-behavioral, existential, EMDR, and Clinical Hypnosis. I adapt my approach to match the needs of the person and meet them where they are. I believe in treating the whole person through a collaborative relationship that utilizes individual strengths and experiences to discover new ways to cope with the difficulties we experience throughout life. More than anything I believe there is always hope for every client and my goal is to help them create a unique and meaningful avenue to positive change.
My primary clinical interests are in the treatment of bipolar, anxiety, trauma, and depression. I believe in using an integrative approach that meets the client where they are. I have experience treating these disorders in multiple settings and in all degrees of severity. I am EMDR trained.
I have experience with many issues ranging from mild to severe. I have worked in private practice, community mental health, and residential settings. Crash Course in Couple's Communication
This Crash Course is a 3 hour seminar on ways to improve communication with your partner to improve the relationship. We work on understanding basic psychology, communication strategies, love languages, and ways to improve intimacy in the relationship. We utilize Lecture, Discussion, and Activities.
