I am a licensed professional counselor working with young adults, adults, couples, and families. I do my best work with clients seeking couples counseling, family counseling, parenting support, counseling for life transitions (divorce, loss, birth/adoption, postpartum, and relocation), and college student counseling. My goal is to meet you and your family where you are at. You are the expert on you and your family's needs.
I am a person centered therapist. My main priorities are to provide: empathy, a safe, unconditional space to share joys and concerns, and support in feeling heard and understood. I use a strength-based approach, including reflection, encouragement, acceptance, and congruence to support client's in their process of self discovery.
I also use and am trained in: EMDR, Attachment Theory/Therapy (Circle of Security), DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Imago Therapy, Parenting Education (Love & Logic, The Incredible Years, and Make Parenting a Pleasure), Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Foster/Adoption Therapy, and Dual Diagnosis treatment.
