I believe all individuals are capable and strive to succeed though there are times we all struggle and need a supportive individual there to help us through these times. This may be through gaining skills, telling their story, learning about themselves, or simply through practice. I have a passion for working with adolescents, couples, and those who have experienced trauma. I strive to provide a safe space for all individuals and simply enjoy working with people from all cultures, and backgrounds. No issue is too big or too small as long as we develop a strong therapeutic relationship, we can work through them all.
I believe it is important for a therapist to know and understand the whole person as this will help guide the direction of therapy. It is important the individual be an active participant in the change process. I work from an eclectic approach with a passion for narrative therapy, EMDR, DBT, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and mindfulness-based tools.
Overall, I love people. I strive to make this world a better place by helping individuals reach their full potential and helping them to be their true authentic selves. We all go through struggles and difficulties in life and it can be an amazing journey that I want to share with you.
