Narcissistic Personality Therapy Groups
Narcissists cut a wide, swashbuckling figure through the world...even in California (CA). At one end of the self-loving spectrum is the charismatic leader with an excess of charm, at the other end reside individuals with narcissistic personality disorder , whose grandiosity soars to such heights that they are manipulative and easily angered, especially when they don't receive the attention they consider their birthright. Narcissism involves cockiness, manipulativeness, selfishness, power motives, and vanity-a love of self...and mirrors. Narcissistic mothers or narcissistic daughters are a common discussion in therapy, although beware the temptation to use the label because we all have a sense of ego. Personality traits related to narcissism include: Psychopathy, and Machiavellianism.

California (CA) Support Groups and Group Therapy
Group therapy takes many forms. The groups are variously referred to (often interchangeably) as California (CA) counseling groups, California (CA) support groups, California (CA) mutual support groups or peer support groups, self help groups, stress coping groups, workshops and mental health groups. They are moderated by a professional group counselor, group therapist or group psychologist and generally focus on a specific issue or client profile (e.g. men or women etc).

Before joining a California (CA) support group, first see if the issue focus is consistent with your needs. If there are no groups offering support around your issue, feel free to contact these professionals in California (CA) to ask for a referral to alternative groups nearby.
