Addiction Therapy Groups
If you're looking for help with an addiction in Oshawa or for an Oshawa addiction counseling these professionals provide addiction therapy (or addiction therapies) and addiction treatment in Oshawa. Addictions are deceptive: they begin small and then take a hold so that behaviors as common as smoking addiction, or quitting smoking, may become challenging to change. Professional help can be vital. These professionals include addiction Therapy Groups, addiction psychologists and addiction counselors in Oshawa. They can help addicts with alcohol addiction, drug addictions, and less understood addictions like gambling addiction, internet addiction and sex addiction.

For substance abuse, the professionals have experience helping individuals with cocaine addiction, marijuana addiction, methamphetamines ('meths' addiction), opiate addiction and heroine addiction. They provide Oshawa addiction counseling, addiction intervention, addiction support, referrals in Oshawa, detox, rehab and Oshawa 12 step programs.

Oshawa Support Groups and Group Therapy
Group therapy takes many forms. The groups are variously referred to (often interchangeably) as Oshawa counseling groups, Oshawa support groups, Oshawa mutual support groups or peer support groups, self help groups, stress coping groups, workshops and mental health groups. They are moderated by a professional group counselor, group therapist or group psychologist and generally focus on a specific issue or client profile (e.g. men or women etc).

Before joining a Oshawa support group, first see if the issue focus is consistent with your needs. If there are no groups offering support around your issue, feel free to contact these professionals in Oshawa to ask for a referral to alternative groups nearby.
