As humans, our desire for connection and belonging is innate, healthy and our birthright. Too often, parts of us seem to sabotage our relationships and peace of mind by utilizing old learned patterns, meant to protect, but now limiting our fullest expressions of love and security. When we explore, honor and understand the origins of these parts and turn toward them with compassion, we offer ourselves the opportunity to integrate and heal old wounds, to live and love in the present, informed by, but not limited by the past. I assist individuals and couples in transforming themselves and their relationships.
I specialize in assisting individuals and couples manifest and maintain stronger, more secure attachment relationships, to themselves and others. While it is natural to turn away from pain and the parts we dislike, together, we will nurture and mature the parts of you injured by relational disconnections (old wounds).
I combine modern research with ancient wisdom, utilizing my on-going study and training in neuroscience, arousal and attachment theories, Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Transpersonal and Jungian psychologies, Internal Family Systems and a generous sprinkling of the Wise Woman Herbal Tradition.
