I also lecture domestically & internationally on anger management, mindful eating, perfectionism & resilience. My approach to self-criticalness was validated by an independent research team. I'm on the Advisory Board of The Mindfulness Project (London, UK).
My approach is characterized as eclectic, meaning-centered, existential, humanistic, cognitive, metacognitive, psychodynamic & Gestalt elements. I work experientially, didactically, Socratically, frequently innovating & customizing to the specifics of a given case. I offer individual, couples, & group therapy, and work primarily with adults.
I published numerous mindfulness-based self-help books: "Present Perfect," "Eating the Moment," "Reinventing the Meal," "Mindful Emotional Eating," "Anger Management Jumpstart," "Lotus Effect," "Smoke-Free Smoke Break," "6th Battle of Acedia," "Neural We." I also published articles on addictions, psychodrama, logotherapy, hospice care, and consciousness.
