I’ve been a therapist of one type or another for the past 30 years. I’m currently seeing patients for a number of reasons, some rather moderate and some fairly severe. I have extension experience with addictive thinking, anxiety (including compulsive behaviors), depression, existential or interpersonal concerns, bi-polar depression, mindfulness and anger. As a rule, I don’t see couples. My patients range in age from 11 to 90.
Philosophically, I think in terms of a divided psyche composed of parts. (“Part of me wants to come to therapy but another part is afraid”) I also believe in the importance of self awareness and will utilise meditation and mindfulness as tools. We’ll discuss your internal dialogue and attempt to understand it and optimise it for health and resilience.
Please call with any questions about therapy with me. If you’re reading this then you’re probably “shopping” for a therapist. Be picky.
