Understanding Your Teenagers
Adolescents is a time of turmoil and confusion. There is a tug between these two contrasting feelings and needs. Separation from parents and closeness to friends. As parents we must help our teens deal with navigating their feelings with friends and relationships, develop good judgment, self-esteem, peer pressures, use of technology, facebook, texting, sex, drugs, alcohol use. Creating boundaries and decision making skills, giving a balance of freedom and involvement will be touched on. This group provides a safe place to share the multitude of concerns that parents are faced with in today's world.
