Ms. Elizabeth Voso

Clinical Social Work/Therapist , LICSW

(401) 216-6017
In the same community, in a private, comfortable space for more than 20 years, I have worked with my clients using both traditional and creative therapeutic tecniques to bring about new insight, desired behavior change, and to work together with clients in developing practical tools for maintaining resiliency and bolstering existing coping skills. Building or rediscovering a strong sense of hopefulness, competency, and sense of general well being in the face of life's many challenges is a goal I hope to accomplish with clients of all ages.
Although my practice is very broad spectrum, I have increasingly been working with couples, either to strengthen longterm existing relationships or to provide "resiliency training" to persons contemplating beginning a committed relationship.
Being an artist as well as a psychotherapist, I have an awareness of and strong sensitivity to the unique issues faced by creative persons. Additionally, I can offer support and guidance to those who have ailing pets or are grieving the loss of a pet.
