Many people I see have trouble coping with day to day living due to deeply rooted issues that have been troubling them for a long time. Others are dealing with issues that may be interfering with work, school or personal relationships. I have excellent results working with clients who are motivated to gain insight into difficulties in their lives in order to resolve existing conflicts.
I am a psychodynamically trained Soto Zen Buddhist Priest and Psychotherapist. My clients' most common problems involve difficulty with relationships. My training at NYU was in family systems, object relations, and ego psychology. Since 2011, I trained at and maintained affiliation with the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey (CPPNJ).
I am a trained bereavement counselor and work with individuals and families coping with chronic/terminal illnesses and loss. I am also an Ordained Zen Buddhist Priest and have been practicing and teaching meditation since 1995. I teach Buddhist meditation to individuals interested in learning ancient healing practices that can be helpful with many issues.
