Would you like to work on your issues with mindfulness, compassion and curiosity? Those are the qualities we use together to work with depression, grief, anxiety and relationship issues. Becoming aware of and learning to work with one's inner critic is very helpful too. In general, counseling and psychotherapy are powerful tools that can help us to feel better. I offer a safe, supportive and calm place to explore your self and your life. We can use traditional therapy techniques as well as mindfulness or meditative approaches to start to feel better as well as to grow and change.
In our working relationship I bring a sense of humor, caring and a willingness to address hard issues. I have been in the field for 24 years and have extensive experience working with adults and young adults addressing a myriad of issues. I also practice meditation and yoga regularly.
I offer a free initial consultation. Sliding scale is available. I am also trained in the Grief Recovery Method.

This group offers both support in the form of shared experience and wisdom, along with learning and growth around topics that are specific to single motherhood.
