I am a licensed psychiatrist, with over 20 years' experience helping people succeed in living healthy and full lives. I received my medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School, and completed residencies in General Psychiatry and in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at St. Vincent's Medical Center, New York City. Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, I maintain private practices in New York City and Providence, RI. I've trained and supervised clinicians and residents of Brown University Medical School. I offer the following: * Individual therapy * Group therapy * Family therapy * Children and adolescents * Couples' therapy * Medication.
Therapy is a healing process, which enables you to gain control of your life. I will help you decode your thoughts and emotions that block you from living a full life, and to grow your own unique set of life skills that gives you the power to change.
As a licensed physician, I am qualified to prescribe medication as part of the therapy if needed. Medication can be helpful to stabilize and balance to enable the therapy to succeed.
