I think it's very important to find a therapist who is a GOOD FIT for you with your unique needs. While I think psychodynamically, which means that I focus on helping my clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships, I tend to be pragmatic and problem solving. My style is professional, yet relaxed and I'm appreciated for being both compassionate and having a sense of humor in my work. I see my patients in individual psychotherapy and very frequently in group therapy as well. Please note that I am only accepting new patients for group therapy.
I help people who are wanting to address their difficulties be it with their work, family, and/or personal relationships. I also treat people who have suffered trauma or abuse during their childhoods, have a history of emotional neglect, suffer from eating issues, or struggle with a mood disorder.
I am a Certified Group Psychotherapist. Therapy groups are comprised of up to eight members who meet regularly - on zoom or in person. Whatever is shared is absolutely confidential and members do not socialize outside of group. I have physical offices in Bethesda & in Hillandale, Silver Spring; and also tele-health for people in PsyPact states!

This mixed gender psychotherapy group meets weekly in Silver Spring. Group sessions are facilitated in a way that maximizes self growth as members share thoughts, feelings and personal experiences. We talk about relationships, depression, anxiety, career challenges, appearance issues and other important concerns. Members are encouraged to use the group to practice new behaviors within the safety of a supportive and comfortable environment. Group is an affordable $120 a session - and a very effective treatment modality!

Dr Frank has an online group for adults that meets (and will always meet) on Zoom, and is open to people in any of the 28 PsyPact states. This group is suitable for men and women who want to address concerns about relationships, intimacy, career challenges, and such like. The group is also for people who experience anxiety or depression. Note that group members do not have social connections outside of group and for purposes of confidentiality, even surnames are not shared.
