I offer individual and group therapy for anxiety, panic and phobias, depression, grief and loss, relationship concerns, stress management and living with chronic conditions. As a mental health clinician for county mental health clinics and as a psychotherapist in private practice, I have seen how courageously individuals deal with life difficulties. When it seems they feel overwhelmed by their situations or when they feel the need for support and clarity, they take the next step and seek counseling. Together we work towards emotional resilience.
As a senior faculty member of The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, I bring a whole person approach into the counseling process. Health and well-being are affected by all facets of life--social, occupational, emotional, physical and spiritual. We will work together keeping your whole person in mind.
I am a registered provider with Give An Hour (www.giveanhour.org), a national non-profit network of volunteer licensed mental health professionals offering free, confidential counseling for military service members, veterans and their loved ones. Mind-Body Skills Group
Learn scientifically-based mind-body techniques in a supportive small group setting. Experience effective practices for self-care and stress management including meditation, guided imagery, biofeedback, drawings and movement.
