Dr. Perez's clinical and research interests focus on understanding how patients and families cope with the impact of cancer and other chronic illnesses. He has extensive experience treating illness-related distress. His expertise includes an understanding of how patients can effectively cope with all aspects of the illness experience.
Dr. Perez is an in-network provider with many health care plans and all of his in-office psychological services are covered by most insurances. Assistance with insurance authorization is provided prior to consultation. Additionally, patient advocacy services are offered for patients who may need support outside of the psychotherapy office.
