Stephanie Cole, obtained her Bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University. Stephanie knew at the age of 15 that she would study psychology and her ultimate goal was to build a safe and healthy place for individuals, to not only understand their mental illness, but learn how to cope with those various illnesses. Moving back to Dallas, Georgia, Stephanie planted her roots and began to expand on her life long dream. She received her Master's degree in counseling psychology from The Georgia School of Professional Psychology. She is licensed by the State of Georgia as a licensed professional counselor.
Stephanie serves the West Georgia community, and has for 20+ years, changing children/adolescents and families. She began in Polk County as the child and adolescent therapist/supervisor. From 2007-13 she was a therapist at Development Behavioral Pediatrics. In 2013, Journeys Counseling Center was built where Stephanie is a therapist and co-owner.
Journeys services adolescents, families/couples and individuals. We pride ourselves in a "comfortable" counseling center with an "at home" feel. Our goal is to assist clients to cope with daily symptoms. Whether it is managing their symptoms or changing their behaviors. Mrs. Cristy, our administrative assistant, will assist in making your appointments.

Anxiety and Depression
NO GROUPS CURRENTLY Support Groups providing techniques to deal with Depression and Anxiety for Adolescents. Provides a sense of togetherness and diminishes the feeling of isolation. Invitation is required. All FEMALE group and patient must attend one individual session prior to attending group. The Monday group High-School Ages only. Scheduled evenings subject to change.
