Many of us have lived through hard and painful life experiences. For some of us, the physical and emotional memory of those experiences keep us locked in a state of shame, anxiety, fear and loneliness (this experience is often labeled with a variety of diagnoses: PTSD, Complex PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD). It can seem impossible to create and sustain meaningful, fulfilling and nurturing relationships (including the one with yourself!) from an isolated and fearful place. If you are seeking to feel better and create healthy and sustainable changes in your life, this may be the work for you.
My holistic approach incorporates talk therapy, art therapy and body-centered mindfulness. My intention is to help you: listen to your body, stay grounded and connected, practice new coping skills, increase your tolerance for challenging emotions and feelings and process them for healing and growth, increase self-compassion and understanding.
I have experience working with individuals, couples and groups living with: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, PTSD and Complex Trauma, and relational dynamics. Each of us has the innate potential to heal and grow and I am committed to being present with you on your journey and process.
