Most of my clients are struggling with the daily issues of everyday life and relationships. They want to feel better but don't know how to break through habitual patterns of thinking and doing. Eventually frustration, unhappiness, and feelings of anxiety and depression set in. I know how hard depression is and how it strips away the simple pleasures of life, and how anxiety hijacks the ability to enjoy daily living. It doesn't have to stay this way. Maybe it's your time to make some changes for a different outcome. Like Nathaniel Branden, I believe, "Your life is important. Honor it. Fight for your highest possibilities." (1994)
How do I help? First by listening to you and then collaborating with you to figure out ways to improve your day to day life. No mystery or magic involved. For most of my clients, it is just skills to help manage unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also offer mind-body therapies to help reduce the symptoms of traumatic experiences.
I know letting go of familiar patterns can be challenging. I also know it helps to have someone partner with you in making those changes. While I can't guarantee what your end result will look like, I can and will do everything in my power to help you feel better. No judgments. Just a genuine desire to help you live your best life.
