A guiding principle in working with any client is to see that person as a unique individual with strengths and potential far greater than the problem that has brought them to my door. My job is to tap into those strengths, to help you see your potential, and to support you in making the change you are seeking to achieve. I incorporate a holistic approach that looks at a client from a whole person, mind-body perspective, focusing on identifying relational, lifestyle, or cognitive changes that may be beneficial to reaching your identified goals.
I work with individual adults (ages 21 and up) and couples. My training and experience encompasses treating stress and anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic illness, pain management, relationship issues, self-identity, as well as challenges related to life transitions (graduation, career change, parenthood, divorce and retirement).
Specialty trainings I have completed include a 200-hour, Yoga Alliance certified teacher training, an EMDRIA approved EMDR training utilizing a somatic, attachment focused (S.A.F.E) approach method, and an Aromatherapy for Health Professionals course. I integrate aromatherapy and mind-body methods for interested clients and when appropriate to offer them.

Transitions Therapy Group for Women
Therapeutic support group for women who are seeking to actively make changes within themselves or their interaction with others. The goals are to increase personal insight and develop new skills for helping to recuce stress, anxiety and depression. This group offers a structured ten to eleven session format, using assigned book readings, experiential exercises and group discussion. An initial one on one consultation is required. Offered in the Spring and Fall. Call for more info

Gentle Chair Yoga
