Writers' Block Group
This group uses a combination of “hands on” strategies and process discussions. The “hands on” components include setting realistic goals, behavioral strategies, mapping out projects, relaxation techniques, cognitive strategies, and etc. Process discussions often address motivational problems, fear of failure (or success), anxiety, depression and hopelessness, procrastination, avoidance, feeling overwhelmed, working with difficult agents, publishers or committee members, and negative experiences that create barriers to productive writing. There are 4-10 members. Members are asked to maintain confidentiality

LGBT Support
This group is intended to provide a safe space for members to discuss both issues particular to the LGBT community such as coming out, internalized negativity, rejection from family, religious struggles, same-gender relationships, etc., as well as general life problems. You can be yourself, knowing that your fellow members “get” the LGBT part of you. There will be from 4-10 members. Members are asked to maintain confidentiality.

General Therapy Group
There is something powerfully healing about experiencing the support and constructive feedback of a group. Groups can be the best treatment option for some types of problems. They are a particularly helpful for working on interpersonal problems, as they provide a safe place to try out new ways of interacting. Members receive invaluable feedback about how they are perceived by others in social situations. When participating in the General Therapy Group, members discuss personal issues such as family problems, relationship issues, feelings of isolation, depression, anxiety, anger, and etc. There are 4-8 members. Members are asked to maintain confidentiality.
