8 Week Trauma Sensitive Yoga Workshop in March
Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Classes are specifically designed to be beneficial for survivors of Trauma. This may include abuse, neglect, sexual assault, rape, chronic anxiety and stress, PTSD, domestic violence. The main goal in yoga classes is for women to feel they are in control of their own bodies. 2 trained yoga professionals are there to create a safe and supportive environment. Trauma-Sensitive Yoga is a way to become comfortable and safe once again in your own body, calm fear and anxiety, learn techniques to stay present and grounded, to quiet repetitive thoughts, and to learn self-regulation tools through gentle yoga and mindful breathing.
