Paint The Stars Art Therapy offers a wide variety of creative outlets to be used alongside traditional psychotherapy in order to help children, teen and adults cope with various issues. We specialize in working with children/teens/college students ages 3-22 and adults 23+ in need of alternatives to talk therapy or those who want something more. We are happy to lend an ear and a paintbrush.
We specialize in Clinical Art Therapy, utilizing additional creative outlets such as play therapy techniques including sand-tray, and traditional psychotherapy techniques. Our team includes client-based therapists who use various theories based on each individual that we meet. We offer sand and play therapy especially for those under the age of 5.
By using both Clinical and Creative Art Therapy techniques we are able to gain a thorough understanding of clients of all ages. Many of our therapists work in other locations such as schools, mental health facilities and hospitals. In our Manalapan and Ocean offices we see all ages, in our new Princeton office we see only young adults and adults.

Paint it out!
You've never experienced Group Therapy like this before! We are combining movement, social skills, creativity and expression of hard-to-reach emotions through a boxing/painting group. This is a summer only group and will be held outdoors. Groups are going to be small, maximum of 4 kids per age group; Ages 9-22 are offered. No prior treatment is necessary. Email us for more info!
