Having assisted individuals of all ages through the therapeutic process for many years, I feel I can provide the wisdom and compassion to facilitate your therapeutic process whether you are seeking a short term- solution focused- treatment, or in-depth psychotherapy for yourself, your child, or your family.
I have worked in educational, community mental health settings, and private practice with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My special interest is in using "mindfulness" to treat a variety of anxiety disorders. I run a weekly "psycho-social" knitting group, for individuals who otherwise do not feel comfortable participating in a group setting.
I offer cognitive behavioral and mindfulness based psychotherapy with a warm and non-judging approach, for people who are experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, post-traumatic stress, chronic pain, chronic mental illness, eating disorder, relationship problems, parenting issues. I also offer behaviorally based psychotherapy to children with ADHD, behavior, and parent child conflicts.
