People typically come to see me when they feel anxious, depressed, stressed out, or stuck. I work with clients to help them be more compassionate with themselves, so that they can develop a sense of curiosity and acceptance toward their experiences. As people become curious about why they feel and act the way they do, they are able to see their situation in a new light, and can come up with new solutions.
I use a strength-based approach to therapy, integrating psychodynamic and mindfulness perspectives. I follow my client's lead, and help them to better understand the things that get in their way and the things that help them feel at their best.
I work with adults of all ages. I currently take Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Tufts, Optum, Harvard Pilgrim, Oxford, US Family Plan, United Health Care, and Medicare. I can also easily process out of network benefits for Cigna. Due to a very high number of calls and a busy schedule during the pandemic, it may take me a few days to return calls and emails.
